MPAR Wins FAMANZ Innovation Award

We’re proud to have received the Innovation Award from the Faculty of Asbestos Management of Australia and New Zealand (FAMANZ) — recognising solutions that improve safety and transform how asbestos information is managed.

MPAR is redefining asbestos register management using AI, transforming fragmented information into clear, reliable, and easy-to-use dashboards. Our commitment is to deliver technology that genuinely simplifies the way the industry works and helps create safer environments for everyone.

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

Across the industry, asbestos information is often stored in fragmented PDF reports and registers, created in different formats by different providers.

This makes it difficult to:

  • Quickly locate accurate information
  • Maintain up-to-date registers
  • Confidently plan works and ensure compliance

In high-risk environments such as schools, public buildings, and large asset portfolios, this lack of clarity can lead to serious consequences — including missed risks and potential exposure.

The MPAR Approach

MPAR was built to eliminate this problem entirely.

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to read and interpret asbestos register and assessment PDFs from any supplier, regardless of format. Instead of relying on manual data entry or rigid templates, MPAR automatically extracts and structures key information into:

  • Clear, standardised dashboards
  • Visual, map-based risk views
  • Real-time insights into actions and priorities

This creates a single, reliable source of truth across all assets.

Why This Is Innovative

What sets MPAR apart is not just digitisation — it’s intelligent transformation.

Rather than asking organisations to change how reports are created, MPAR adapts to existing documents and converts them into a consistent, usable system. This removes a major barrier to adoption and allows organisations to immediately benefit from:

  • Improved visibility of asbestos risks
  • Faster and more confident decision-making
  • Reduced administrative workload
  • Stronger compliance and audit readiness

Real Impact

MPAR is already being used to support organisations managing complex portfolios, where clarity and accuracy are critical.

By turning static documents into live, structured data, MPAR helps ensure that:

  • Risks are not overlooked
  • Information is always accessible
  • Teams can plan and act with confidence

Ultimately, this leads to safer environments for workers, occupants, and communities.

Looking Ahead

Winning the FAMANZ Innovation Award is an important milestone, but it’s just the beginning.

We remain committed to continuing to develop MPAR in collaboration with industry partners, expanding its capabilities, and delivering technology that genuinely improves how asbestos and asset information is managed.
